Privacy Policy

The Kid Catch Foundation (KCF) Privacy Policy describes what information we collect about you and about your use of KCF services. It will explain the choices you have about how your personal information is used and how we protect that information.

This Privacy Policy applies to Web sites owned and operated by KCF that are intended for use by consumers for non-commercial personal purposes, including the mobile optimized versions of these sites.

Information Collected About You

Personal Information

For certain KCF Web Sites, you may be required to submit Personal Information. “Personal Information” means information that we can use to identify or contact you, such as your email address, or health information.

KCF will store your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. KCF will not make any use of your personal information beyond the permitted uses in this Privacy Policy unless you provide such additional consent.

Kid Catch Directory Treatment Tracker

KCF conducts online surveys to gather information about mental health providers and the effectiveness of treatment.  When participating in a survey, we ask you to enter Personal Information such as your email address and health information. The Personal Information you submit in a survey may be used by KCF, as described below, to measure the type of mental health services that are available and the effectiveness of those services. When KCF surveys collect Personal Information we will not knowingly accept participants who are under the age of 13.

Emails You Send to KCF

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information, ideas, concepts or inventions that you send to KCF by email. If you want to keep information, ideas, concepts or inventions private or proprietary, do not send them in an email to KCF.

Non-Personal Information

Even if you do not provide any Personal Information to KCF, we collect Non-Personal Information about your use of the KCF Web Sites. “Non-Personal Information” means information that we cannot use to identify or contact you.

Cookies and Web Beacons

We collect Non-Personal Information about your use of the KCF Web Sites through the use of cookies and web beacons. Cookies are small data files that are stored on the hard drive of the computer you use to view a web site. Web beacons are graphic image files imbedded in a web page used to monitor activity on a web page and send information back to its home server (which can belong to the host site, a network advertiser or some other third party).  The information may include the IP address, the URL of the page on which the web beacon is located, the type of browser that is accessing the site, and the ID number of any cookies on your computer previously placed by that server.

Non-Personal Information Collected by Third Parties

Sponsors or advertisers on the KCF Web Sites may use their own cookies, web beacons or other online tracking technologies in their advertisements and sponsored links. Their advertisements may be displayed on the KCF Web Sites or on other sites that you visit after you visit the KCF Web Sites. Some advertisers use companies other than KCF to serve their ads and to monitor users' responses to ads, and these ad servers may also collect Non-Personal Information through the use of cookies or web beacons on the KCF Web Sites.
